Happy New Year!

I am at a complete loss of words! I can't believe we have officially arrived in the year 2021!

2020 was a difficult year filled with sadness, death and so many challenges. Many were forced out of work and immediately turned into teachers due to their children starting virtual learning. We were thrown out of our comfort zones and forced to live a lifestyle of house arrest. I don't know about you, but I have a clean record and being told that I have to stay home is totally differently than choosing to stay home.

Many of you know that I work in the healthcare field in the U.S. Navy. At the end of this month I will be celebrating a new promotion and 14 years of service to our great country. I can't stress to you how important it is for us to do our part and protect not only ourselves, but the ones we love and the ones that we don't even know. We don't know how our inaction can cause pain and suffering for another family. So...THANK YOU for wearing your mask! Us healthcare/frontline workers appreciate you for doing that!

Now as for 2021, I did not make any resolutions. I am going to continue to invest in my business, my crafts, my family and our future. The only difference is I am going to continue to go harder than I did last year. Self investment is that best thing that you can do for yourself and I strongly encourage you to do. 2020 gave us all plenty of time to take a look at ourselves internally and know what we have to do to be a better person or to look out for "self." Those that are always putting others first...it's time to STOP and FINALLY put yourself first! Step out on faith and leave those that are not there to genuinely cheer you on!

With that being said, I pray 2021 treats you well. I pray that its filled with happiness, success and prosperity. I would also like to point out that 2020 just turned 21 so we need to make sure she does't make any out of pocket decisions!

Grab your drink (water, liquor or whatever you choose) and lets toast to a great year!

Be blessed!
